3 Bees Paperie is a wedding and social event stationery company that provides high quality paper with contemporary, South Asian inspired designs. 3 Bees Paperie currently offers three collections: Couture Weddings, ready-to-order wedding stationery; Baby Bee, ready-to-order baby announcements; and Made for You, for custom stationery.

How green is 3 Bees Paperie?

Quite, we think! At 3 Bees Paperie, we are committed to ensuring that we offer products that can be eco-friendly. And we will continue to find new ways to provide green products. After all, at the end of the day, as beautiful and unique as our stationery is, it is paper!

3 Bees Paperie offers the following in being eco-friendly:

  1. Our Couture Wedding line is printed on FSC certified paper along with recycled envelopes, using at least 30% post-consumer waste.

  2. We can offer recycled papers for our Made for You line.

  3. Our printing plant is powered 100% by wind technology.

  4. Both Couture Wedding and Baby Bee products are printed using HP Indigo technology, which is known to have a significant reduction in the emission of VOCs (volatile organic compounds) compared with other printing technology.

What kind of printing techniques do you use?

3 Bees Paperie offers three types of printing techniques:

1. Digital offset (Couture Wedding and Baby Bee):

A relatively new technology, digital offset is a top-of-the line printer that mimics the quality of traditional offset presses. Whereas most digital printers use toners, digital offset uses liquid ink that dries directly into the paper. The result is flat printing but done quicker and cheaper than traditional offset printers. However, digital offset is limited by its paper choices and prints on weights no larger than 110 lbs. These presses cannot print on envelopes either.

2. Letterpress (Made for You):

Letterpress has been around for hundreds of years, and hopefully hundreds more! This printing process creates images that are indented into the paper. The result – stationery that not only looks good but feels good too! Letterpress is best used on thick and soft paper. Letterpress, however, is not the best method for printing photographs.

3. Offset (Made for You, envelopes for Couture Wedding and Baby Bee):

Offset printing (or lithography) is a traditional printing method where ink sits flat on the paper. The presses transfer images from printing plates to a rubber blanket and then to paper. Unlike digital offset, offset printing can be used on any type of paper with any type of weight.

Can I get samples of your ready-to-order collections?

Of course! Fill out the samples form online to order any samples you want. If you choose to order stationery with us, we will deduct the cost of the samples from your stationery order. All samples are priced per item (card & envelope). From our Couture line, you can order samples of any of the products – invitations, inserts, RSVP cards, Save the Date cards, and/or Thank you cards. We charge a shipping flat rate of $3 for mailing samples in the United States.

How do you ship orders and can I get a tracking number?

We ship orders through UPS and samples through US Postal Service. For UPS shipments, we will send a shipment confirmation e-mail along with a tracking number.

Do you accept international orders?

Yes, but please note the shipping internationally will increase the turnaround time.

How do I pay for my order?

We currently accept payment by major credit cards only through PayPal. We will send you an invoice via e-mail after confirming your order.

Cancellation and refund policy

What is your cancellation and refund policy for your ready-to-order collections (Couture Weddings and Baby Bee)?

Once the payment is received, no refunds are given for our ready-to-order collections. If you need to cancel your order after purchasing the stationery, we can give you store credit for future purchases, only if your order has not been printed or shipped.

What is your cancellation and refund polity for your Made for You line?

For Made for You, if you need to cancel after the first deposit is made, there is a $200 cancellation fee and the balance of the deposit will be returned to you. Once the balance payment is received, there are no refunds.

I found damages on my shipped items. Can I get a full refund?

3 Bees Paperie is committed producing high quality products with attentive customer service. We thoroughly check all our orders after receiving it from the printing plant and before sending it to you. Though we do not offer full refunds, if you do see damages to your stationery due to our negligence, we can discuss the damages involved and we will try to rectify the situation by either printing the items again on us or allotting some compensation based on the damages involved. However, we cannot offer a full refund.

I made a spelling mistake on my order! Can I return the products and get a refund?

Sorry, no. Errors on the customer's part are not eligible for any damage compensation. It is very important to thoroughly check your proof before giving it an O.K.. Get your family and friends involved in proofing your stationery to make sure you didn't make any errors.

Couture Weddings

How long does the ready-to-order process take?

After paying for your order, expect to receive your stationery in about 4 weeks.

I need my wedding stationery quicker!

No worries! Make sure to mark the rush order box on your order form and we will notify you about the corresponding additional shipment and rush fees.

I need inserts for my wedding invitations but I won't be holding a mehndi or dancing event.

The text on all our designs is customizable for your wedding itinerary. The copy on the additional inserts can be modified for receptions, rehearsal dinners, second ceremonies, and so on.

I would like religious symbols on my wedding invitations. Can this be done?

We can add religious symbols to the Couture line at no additional cost. Please make sure to choose a religious symbol from our list and specify the one you want on our order form.

How are the ready-to-order wedding invitations printed?

All of the Couture Wedding stationery is printed using HP Indigo printers, a top-of-the-line and eco-friendly digital offset (flat) technology. If you would like any of the Couture line designs to be printed using letterpress or traditional offset methods, please contact us for a price quote.

What kind of paper does the Couture line use?

All of our ready-to-order wedding stationery is printed on Finch Fine 100lbs paper, a FSC-certified and high-quality stock. Most of our envelopes are printed on recycled (post-consumer waste of at least 30%) 60-70 lbs paper stock.

Can I change the envelope colors?

At this time, we cannot change the colors of the envelopes in our Couture line.

I like one of the Couture designs but I want to change the ink colors.

We can change the ink colors on any of the stationery designs for a rate of $25 per item design (card & envelope). You can either send us a Pantone (PMS) color number or chip or a sample (fabric, paper, paint chip) of the color you want. Please note that changing the ink colors of the designs increases the turnaround time.

I like one of the Couture designs but I want to change the font.

No, we cannot change the fonts of our Couture line.

I would like to order additional stationery from your Couture line, like menus, favors, place cards, etc.

No problem! Please contact us regarding incorporating any of our Couture designs into additional wedding stationery items.

I want my wedding stationery to be held together. What do you recommend?

We can provide solid color belly bands, half moon enclosures, or pocket enclosures for your wedding stationery at an additional cost.

I'm interested in purchasing just Thank You cards with blank envelopes. Can I do that?

Sure. We sell our Thank You cards in batches of 25 with non-printed envelopes for $30.

I would like to use the graphics from my Couture invitations on my wedding website. Can you send me the files?

We can release your wedding graphics for reproduction on your website for an additional fee.

Baby Bees

How long does the ready-to-order process take?

After paying for your order, expect to receive your baby announcements order in about 2 - 3 weeks.

I need my baby announcements quicker!

How are the ready-to-order baby announcements printed?

All of the Baby Bee stationery is printed using HP Indigo printers, a top-of-the-line and eco-friendly digital offset (flat) technology. If you would like any of the announcements to be printed using letterpress or traditional offset methods, please contact us for a price quote.

What kind of paper does the Baby Bee line use?

All of our ready-to-order baby announcements are printed on GPA 110lbs paper, a high-quality stock. Most of our envelopes are printed on 60-70 lbs paper stock.

Can I change the envelope colors?

At this time, we can not change the envelope selections of our Baby Bee line.

Do you print addresses on the Baby Bee envelopes?

No, we do not. We can, however, provide return address labels with related graphics for you at an additional fee.

How do I add my baby's photo to the announcement?

We recommend e-mailing us a high-resolution, digital photograph of your baby. If you don't have a digital photograph to use, you can send us the original photograph (we will return it to you with your order). However, sending a hard copy photograph increases the turnaround time by a week.

If you're feeling really crafty, we can provide you with instructions on how to glue your baby's photographs onto the baby announcements yourself.

Made for you

How long does the custom process take?

Because our Made for Your stationery is customized to each customer's likes and preferences, the amount of time varies with each order. However, we do recommend to contact us regarding Made for You stationery at least 4 months in advance. Please refer to the How to Order section for full details about the custom order process.

How much is a consultation?

Free!

What kind of printing methods to you use?

Any! We typically work with letterpress, offset, or digital offset.

What kind of paper do you use?

Any! Our graphic designer will discuss paper options based on your preferences and budget during the consultation process.

Can embellishments be added to the stationery?

Absolutely! Ribbons, crystals, beads, boxes, and so on can be added to any Made for You stationery purchase.

What if I don't want to continue further after receiving the inspiration board and price quotation?

No problem! Our consultation is free so if you feel you are no longer interested in pursuing with Made for You stationery, there are no fees to pay.

What happens if I need to cancel my order in the middle of the process?

For Made for You, if you need to cancel after the first deposit is made, there is a $200 cancellation fee and the balance of the deposit will be returned to you. Once the balance payment is received, there are no refunds.

I would like to use the graphics from my Made for You stationery on my event website. Can you send me the files?

We can release your unique graphics for reproduction on your website for an additional fee.
